Clinton on Health CareOkay, I listened to one of Mrs. Clinton's speaches where she mentioned that her "health care plan" would mean making it affordable for everyone to have good, quality health care & the ones who turned it down would be "fined." Sounds great to a lot of people, but what about those of us who are not old enough for Medicare, but are disabled & have not been approved for Social Security Disability so have absolutely no income coming in???? She wants to "fine" me? I did not hear her say what we were to use to pay that fine, but I'd really like to know that. I admit I haven't heard Obama's or McCain's plan to make health care readily available and affordable yet, only that they have one. I'd like to hear their plan's because Mrs. Clinton (or any or the other two) will have to deal with the economy before they start "fining" people in my situation.
Also, I may be really slow, but I did notice ex-President Bill Clinton, stumping for his wife from a convertible & what really caught my attention was a large sign on the side of the care that declared him "Vice President Bill Clinton." I admit I should have been aware of that situation from the get-go, but I wasn't. I think because some of the news casters referred numerous times to a Clinton-Obama or an Obama-Clinton Administration that it never crossed my mind that Hillary would name ol' Bill as Vice President.
