    Sky Angel Cowboy

I saw this on my friend, Carol's page & wanted to be sure all of you saw it too!  Just further proof that God not only listens, but does indeed answer...

    The Sky Angel Cowboy…

The Sky Angel Cowboy! Since posting this audio it has taken on a life of its own. People are forwarding it all over the world. Some corrections… We originally said Logan was 12. He actually turned 13 in August, so we don’t want to deprive him of such a big birthday. Logan listens to us (89.3 KSBJ which broadcasts from Houston, TX) on Sky Angel because he lives on a ranch in a very small town in Nebraska. He called us distraught because he had to take down a calf. His words have wisdom beyond his years.

Listen to what Logan had to say…

A huge thanks to Frank Lazano the Media Director at Velencia Hills Community Church in California. He took the phone call from Logan and created this flash presentation.

Did you Know that Logan was on CBN’s 700 Club?

If you are out of the area you can listen our great Christian music online as well at www.ksbj.org

    A message from Logan’s Mom….

I am Logan’s Mom………I don’t know how many come back to read these after they have blogged but I thought it was time to thank so many of you for the love and acceptance of my son’s heart. It truly was a work of God and it has increased Logan’s faith and brought healing to his heart in more ways than one!! We appreicate your prayers so much. We praise God that this message from Him has brought hope and healing to many of you. Our God is truly an awesome God. May His works continue to go forth through KSBJ, in Jesus name.

Yes, we look forward to what God has in store for Logan. We have known for some time that God has given him a gift of communicating to people’s hearts. We saw signs of it even as a little boy. We homeschool our children and truly enjoy our time with Logan and his sister Erica who is 9.

So, thank you to all of you for your loving responses to a young man’s growing heart. Your prayers have reaped more than you know and will continue to reap heavenly power in this lost and dying world. Praise be to our everlasting Father God in all this!!

With alll my love and thanks,
    Tee Jay Henderson

    Another Gift From God

Smile  Okay, I have to tell ya that I have never, ever had as many good things happen to me as I have in the past 2 months.

I picked up the mail today & found an envelope addressed to me from my last apartment address.  I was wondering what the deal was because I KNEW I would not get my deposit back.  I mean, besides the cigarette burns in the carpet (shame on me) I had also attached kitty seats on the window sills of the two front windows.  They were bolted onto the sill, plus one had sticky back tape on it.  When I gave up my cats I had taken both seats down, leaving holes in the sills.  Also, the one with tape on the back pulled off most of the paint.  I also, for the first time in my life, did not go back & clean the apartment once everything was out.  I had not mentioned my deposit to the apartment manager when I gave notice, because there was no point.

The envelope they sent me today contained a check in the amount of $322.00 & it was noted "deposit refund."  You'll never, ever make me believe that didn't come from God!!!!!!  And just before I checked the mail, I had called in refills on ALL my prescriptions & was thinking my savings could not possibly hold out long with all the drugs!

Obviously, I should have KNOWN God would take care of me & His care has happened in such surprising ways the last too months.
And I had not asked him for any of them, just told him to lead me where he wanted me.

    Our God is AWESOME!!!

    Science vs. God

    Got this from my sister........................

    Science vs God

'Let me explain the problem science has with Jesus Christ.'  The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his
    new students to stand.

    'You're a Christian, aren't you, son?'
    'Yes sir,' the student says.

    'So you believe in God?'
    'Absolutely. '

    'Is God good?'
    'Sure! God's good.'

'Is God all-powerful?  Can God do anything?'
    'Yes.'

    'Are you good or evil?'
    'The Bible says I'm evil.'

The professor grins knowingly. 'Aha!  The Bible!'  He considers for a moment.

'Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it.  Would you help him?  Would you try?'
    'Yes sir, I would.'

    'So you're good...!'
    'I wouldn't say that.'

'But why not say that?  You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could.  Most of us would if we could.  But God doesn't.'

The student does not answer, so the professor continues. 'He doesn't, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to Jesus to heal him.  How is this Jesus good?  Hmmm?  Can you answer that one?'

    The student remains silent.

'No, you can't, can you?' the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax.
'Let's start again, young fella.  Is God good?'
    'Er....yes,' the student says.

    'Is Satan good?'
The student doesn't hesitate on this one. 'No.'

'Then where does Satan come from?'
    The student :  'From...God. .'

'That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?'
    'Yes, sir.'

'Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything, correct?'
    'Yes.'

'So who created evil?' The professor continued, 'If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to
the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil.'

Without allowing the student to answer, the professor continues:
'Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?'
    The student: 'Yes.'

    'So who created them?'
The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question. 'Who created them? There is still no answer. Suddenly the
lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized. 'Tell me,' he continues onto another student. 'Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?'
The student's voice is confident: 'Yes, professor, I do.'

The old man stops pacing. 'Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?'   'No sir. I've never seen Him'

'Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?'
    'No, sir, I have not.'

'Have you ever actually felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that matter?'
    'No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't.'

'Yet you still believe in him?'
    'Yes.'

'According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?'
'Nothing,' the student replies. 'I only have my faith.'

'Yes, faith,' the professor repeats. 'And that is the problem science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith.'
The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of his own. 'Professor, is there such thing as heat?'
'Yes,' the professor replies. 'There's heat.'

'And is there such a thing as cold?'    'Yes, son, there's cold too.'
    'No sir, there isn't.'

The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested.  The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain.
'You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We can hit up to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we would be able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat.  You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.'

Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding like a hammer.

'What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?'
'Yes,' the professor replies without hesitation. 'What is night if it isn't darkness?'
'You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright  light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have  nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it?  That's the meaning we use to define the word. In reality, darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?'
The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a good semester. 'So what point are you making, young man?'
'Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed.'
The professor's face cannot hide his surprise this time. 'Flawed?  Can you explain how?'
'You are working on the premise of duality,' the student explains. 'You argue that there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it.'

'Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?'
'If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do'
'Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?'
The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.
'Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?'
The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion has subsided.
'To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me give you an example of what I mean.'

The student looks around the room. 'Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor's brain?' The class breaks out into laughter.
'Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain, felt the professor's brain, touched or smelled the professor's brain? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no
brain, with all due respect, sir. So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?'

Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face unreadable.
Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. 'I guess you'll have to take them on faith.'
'Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life,' the student continues. 'Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?'
Now uncertain, the professor responds, 'Of course, there is. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man.  It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil.'

To this the student replied, 'Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God.  It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light.'
    The professor sat down.

Two Blessings on the Same Day

I was praying this morning, which is how I start my day.  I was thanking God for the friends I've discovered I truly have after all the years when I felt I didn't really have any outside of family.  Of course, I talk to God all day, which is better than talking to myself which always drove people crazy.  But my morning prayer was mostly about the friends I've re-discovered.

At noon when my "landlord" brought my mail over, there was an envelope from a guy I went to school with.  He didn't make this last reunion so it's been 15 years since I actually "spoke" to him.  Inside the envelope was a check made out to me for $150.00.  No note, no explanation.  Then late this afternoon I got a call from a lady that was in my class telling me she was coming to see me & asking directions.  She lives down around Hico.  I thought she was coming for me to show her how to do a website here, but that wasn't the case.  She wanted to take me out to eat, but I'm sticking to my diet, plus I'd have had to put on makeup which is something I seldom do because I'm not normally going anywhere & my son is the only person that ever comes to visit.  She drove all the way out here in the boonies & told me to keep in mind she has an extra bedroom if I ever need it.  Matter of fact, the two of us weren't really even close during our school years, but we really hit it off at this last reunion & I love her to pieces.

It just amazes me what God is willing to do for His children.........even for me.  He's so awesome & worthy of our love & praise. And He keeps reminding me that He has me in the palm of His hand.  I don't know how people exist if they don't have a personal relationship with our heavenly Father.

    The Good

Well, it's been 11 1/2 years since Jason died & yesterday I received email from a girl that knew him while he was at Andrews AFB.  She came in for his funeral too.  She had gone to the World Cemetery where I'd posted a note about my web page so she came here & checked it out.

The reason she sent me email was to let me know that even after all this times the memories of Jason are the ones she cherishes the most & thinks about all the time.

She also told me that a year ago she gave her life to Christ.....and was glad to hear that Jason had too.

It warmed my heart as it always does when I hear from someone several states away that not only knew Jason but still keeps his memory alive and takes the time to write & let me know.  He was such a special guy.........and obviously not just to his family.

I praise our God for letting me hear these good things that happen to the people Jason knew.

    A Challenge

I was just talking to a friend online last night who claims to be an atheist.  That subject did not come up but it reminded me the person once told me that.  Meanwhile those that support evolution are trying to keep us from teaching creation in the classroom.  Then there are agnostics who sit on the fence to apathetic to figure out whether they believe in God or not.  They're a lot like some politicians with their fence sitting.

    I offer you a challenge:

To the evolutionist - go to my "Friends" section & click on "X-Evolutionist" where you will find books that prove we did not just "evolve."

To the agnostics - who don't believe or disbelieve - get off your butt, do the research & make a decision!

To the atheists - who do not believe in God, which one would assume means they don't believe the Bible - do you realize the Bible was written by over 400 different people, spanning approximately 1,600 years?  And each of those people, over all those years, agree with one another???

I dare any of you to humble yourself & ask God to show you if He's real, or not.

Look at it this way - if I'm wrong about God, what have you got to lose?  On the other hand, if I'm RIGHT about God, you are risking eternal life & heading toward the chance to spit in Satan's eye.

So - stop sitting on the fence, or believing something just because you don't understand the other.  Do some real research.  Just remember if I'm right & you're wrong.....you have DO have a lot to lose.

    Finally

OK, the move is over & tomorrow will be the first time I don't have anything I HAVE to do. Which means sitting in my recliner with my feet propped up so maybe the pain & swelling will ease up.

I have extension cords & surge protectors plugged into every available outlet....hope I don't burn the place down. Trusting God for that too. I have to say if you've never "heard from God" you need to be du'tsting off that Bible & get into Bible study. And you also need to pray more, not always to ask Him for something, but just to praise & worship Him.  Also, you have to get rid of any obstacles that are blocking your prayers & God's answers. Stop holding on to that anger or bitterness you're hanging on to. Apologize to that person you argued with even if you're convinced that you were right. I've been leaning on Him & trusting in Him for the mess I've had going on. And He took care of that.

Yesterday I bumped something that hit shelf over the toilet, it fell down & everything on it hit the floor, including a glass box that I keep my "good" jewelry in. I picked up everything, then sat down to put my jewelry back in the box. I discovered one of my favorite 14 kt earrings was missing, plus a tiny diamond stud that Daddy gave Mother when I was about 3 years old. I searched every place in that bathroom - no luck.  Made me sick, my "landlady" came over & searched - no luck. I was going to pull up some of the vinyl because it's no longer glued in place, but was too tired to do it that night.

I put it out of my mind before bedtime.  As God is my witness, my very first thought I had when I woke up today was, "I own those earrings - they don't own me."  Immediately there was that wee, small voice telling me I should be storing up my treasures in heaven, not on earth.  And I haven't thought about them the rest of the day.  If God wants me to find them He will lead me to them.  Meanwhile, He taught me another important thing about our "material" possessions!  He is an awesome God!
